I am suffering from a lack of homeschool inspiration. In part that is due to Helena rejecting a lot of my suggestions that I think are exciting.. I have mostly given up. Having said that I have been doing things that are ‘interesting’ like working with a friend to put solar panels on the roof but all she does is read.

I don’t feel like manufacturing context… I took her with me to the high school I clean as a “check out this stuff/ get ideas” sort of thing and the result was that she doesn’t want to go to high school.

Maybe school is also lacking inspiration and context?

I went with H to her music lesson having not done so for a while and was impressed with her rapport with her teacher… I will go with that and the idea that reading increases our understanding of others.
