Make a ramp one block high and roll a car down it, seeing how far it goes and mark the position with a chalk. Repeat but this time make the ramp two blocks high.
Theory: “my theory is that maybe with one less block the car wouldn’t go so far”
Conclusion: “I was right”
She has watched the TED talk on the Blackawton Bees project, and I read her the paper (both funny and kidish)…. next I’ll introduce vocab, of physics, with the idea that if you have words for concepts you have already met you can think deeper on a topic.
And maybe we need a conversation, some modeling, of sample size…. sample size of one… as least there was only one variable!
