I think it is important to reflect. It’s an important part of learning, all that metacognition, even perhaps where most of the learning occurs.

I am also open with Helena about what the government requires of me/us to let her be homeschooled, ie…as often as and and as good as what she’d get at school. So this is her proving it for the government. She has totally taken on board the idea of a report having seen friends receive them. This year she wanted to do her ‘report’ cartoon styley, and is showing an incredible amount of concentration and dedication to the task, with some podcast assistance. She wants the government to assess whether we are doing the right thing, she wants the government to see her report! I am also confident we are doing ok.
