There is something in the wind, and I think they are called hormones. H is definitely a young woman now. Apart from the physical, where she is a small number of cms shorter than me. They way she talks is changing. She has become authoritative! Opinionated! It’s fascinating.

• She doesn’t like relationship TV shows, especially reality shows. Farmer wants a wife.. etc
• She doesn’t like the way books focus on romantic relationships.
• She doesn’t like rich people… to be more accurate their way of life, or watching rich people’s houses.
• She interacts with the news and has an opinion.
• She is assertive. She demands that we hear her opinions and that we heed them.
• She says, “I am the kind of person who….” with authority.
• She wears what she wants.
• She thinks it is terrible to shorten words when texting, and yes, one must use apostrophes.
• Moden music is sooo bad, only wordless classical… 
• She loves the theatre! and especially Shakespeare. Don’t worry, she will watch any old crap on TV as long as it isn’t a documentary, romantic or one of those movies I like where nothing happens.
• She is reading adult books that she found herself – in the large print section, Agatha Christie.

Thank goodness she still says she loves me… I am just not as funny.
