We did school again and there were unexpected results…
Check it out. The first class was us doing DeBono’s hats over an exhibition that had what we are now calling “dead things” in it. Wondering is this acceptable?

We went and saw the exhibition with some friends for the next lesson. H wandered round and said it was quite good. Then spent ages laughing at the funny animal photos with her friends, seemingly much more engaged with it than dead things.
At home with no input from me, I had no idea, she made this! In her “own time”…

She even closely looked at the eggs in a case at the exhibition to try and identify hers! It feels a little Montessori- sew a seed and push them out into their own world of ideas.
Our next lesson (while away camphosting) I showed her the difference between monocotyledon and dicotyledon (the other side of the case above is for plants) and she got carried away and made a poster that is now on our cabin wall!

She can still surprise me.
