We brought a bike. An electric bike built for two… I wish I had done it sooner, when I first knew this sort of bike existed and it wasn’t so expensive. Our plan is to do some bike touring. I thought I could combine this with lots of life schoolish work. Lots of maths…. some physics… social studies and heaps of being outside and exercise. I thought we would write a book of the experience. Now I am tired. Fortunately Helena loves the bike. She is excited every time she goes on it. Maybe she can raise the energy and carry the momentum.

We don’t have much time left, only a year until H goes to high school and our adventures will be curtailed.

Sometimes it is hard to make things happen.
